Stuart Pearce is willing to risk the wrath of Arsene Wenger again by playing Theo Walcott in the England Under-21s tonight and then putting him on a plane to join the seniors in Ukraine.
England Under-21 boss Pearce, 47, admits he has disagreed with Arsenal counterpart Wenger in the past over Walcott.
The Gunners’ ace made his first appearance of the season as a sub in the win over Blackburn after picking up a back injury in pre-season.
Wenger is content for the youngster to play on Friday evening at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena for England’s European Championship qualifier against Macedonia.
