Russian midfielder Andrey Arshavin has become a pivotal element in Arsenal’s side and captain Cesc Fabregas confirmed that the 28-year old can indeed make a difference, even when things are not going according to plan for the Gunners.Speaking to the Arsenal official matchday programme before the Hull City game, the captain said:
We are a young side and might not always know the right to stand up and show ourselves, but we came out of the Liverpool game with plenty of credit for our recovery.
Andrey seems to like Anfield, and was decisive for us again on Sunday. Maybe he didn’t see too much of the ball during the game, but he still went on to score a magnificent goals and win us the points.
