Arsenal playmaker Andrey Arshavin is having trouble switching his attention to club matters after missing out on a place at the World Cup with Russia.
Russia saw their hopes of reaching South Africa crushed by Slovenia in the World Cup play-offs this month.
He told the Mirror: "When Arsene Wenger asked me what state I was in, I honestly told him that at the moment I just don't want to play football."
