Arsenal stars will be playing some pivotal roles in this weekends World Cup games starting with Andrei Arshavin for Russia but he is not the only one.
Andrei Arshavin is more aware than anyone the importance of the Russian game against Germany in Moscow, a win for the Russians would probably see them qualify automatically and the Germans forced in to a play off.
Aaron Ramsey knows that Wales cannot qualify but is hoping for a good performance for his country against Finland that will bode well for the future.
Nicklas Bendtner for Denmark in a game that will see the Danes qualify automatically if they can beat neighbours Sweden.
Then there is the French contingent of Clichy , Gallas , Sagna and Diaby who find themselves in a team low in confidence and very unlikely to make automatic qualification.
There are quite a few others in games in Africa, Central America and even some more in Europe and all have one thing in common.
Arsenal players can make a huge difference.
If the Arsenal stars play to their full ability they are capable of swinging games in their nations favour but there is a down side to so many Gunners being involved in so many games.
The chances are that one or more will return injured, its the law of averages and in most cases with two games in such a short period of time of high intensity it is even more likely.
Wenger will be on tenterhooks until his squad has returned and been assessed
